Kunst und Technik e.V. is a Berlin based association and was founded in 1997.
As the members of Kunst und Technik have been dreaming about the possibility to swim in Kupfergraben, an unused Spree arm along Museum Island in Berlin's very city centre since 1998, today the association's main project is the promotion, the support and the realization of the FLUSSBAD project [-> animation]. The practical scope of the project is to transform Kupfergraben with limited means into a natural 745m "swimming pool" and to provide water of according quality by treating river water in a natural reed bed filter.
